Ajay frames Arya for a car crash so that Geeta will actually love him. However, when he proposes to her, she, in turn, proposes Ajay to get rid of him. However, one night, she manages to emotionally blackmail Arya into exposing himself. Soon, she learns of Arya's real behaviour and tries to expose him, but in vain. Ajay keeps his feelings to himself but Arya constantly keeps confessing his love for Geetha. One day, when Geetha joins the company, both Arya and Ajay fall for her. Arya undergoes a transformation and with time, earns everyone's respect at Ajay's company, including Shanti who develops a liking for him. Ajay agrees, but with a condition that Arya must reform himself. He is arrested and Ajay gets him bailed, and soon their car meets with an accident, leading to Arya saving Ajay from falling off a bridge in exchange for a job at his company. One day, when some rowdies trouble him, Arya enters their house and fights them off violently using medical instruments. Ajay grows to become a business tycoon with a software company. Ajay is adopted by a rich family while Arya is left alone. After the release in Telugu it will also be released in Malayalam.Two orphans Ajay and Arya meet at an orphanage, where the psychotic Arya forcibly befriends Ajay and grows possessive about him, while Ajay despises him but pretends not to. V Aditya Babu and Bhogavalli Prasad are combinely producing the film on Aditya Arts banner.
Navdeep and Shraddha Das are doing supporting roles in this film. Sukumar, who directed the original is directing this movie too. Kajal Agarwal is the female lead of the film. The audio launch would be held in this month. Aarya 2 is expected to hit screens in the second week of November. As the 'Magadheera' film is still going strong at box-office, makers feel if "Arya 2" will be released, buyers may be forced to replace 'Magadheera' with this new one and hence they have decided to postpone the release.
Already the Magadheera has shattered many records and it has been declared as an Industry Hit. Magadheera is going strong after completing 50 days run too, which is very rare to any Blockbuster. Keeping in mind the 100 days run of Magadheera, the makers have taken this decision. The film, which began in October 2008, was suppose to be released on Oct 9th but has been reportedly postponed to November 18th or 25th. Stylish star Allu Arjun plays the lead role, with Kajal Aggarwal and Shraddha Das playing the heroines. Arya 2 is a forthcoming 2009 Telugu language film directed by Sukumar, and is a follow-up to the actor's and the director's previous successful film, Arya.
